Mr Wong Hok Mun is the managing partner of Wong Hok Mun Partnership. Before taking on this role, he led the Litigation department at Azim, Tunku Farik and Wong for 30 years. With more than 35 years of experience as a litigator, he has represented clients in a wide range of complex and high-value disputes involving insurance, corporate & commercial, professional negligence, land and trust law. Mr Wong has argued various landmark cases in Malaysia and has been appointed by numerous leading foreign law firms to advise on Malaysian Law issues and as counsel for suits filed in Malaysia.

In his time at the Bar, Mr Wong not only acted for multi-national corporation, both foreign and local publicly listed companies but is also highly sought after by fellow advocates and solicitors to lead them in commercial matters.

ELAINE KOH PEI SIAH

Ms Elaine Koh Pei Siah is a partner of the firm. She has represented various insurance companies in Malaysia and possesses significant expertise in handling complex matters related to life and general insurance litigation. With regard to her corporate and commercial litigation practice, she has experience representing various local and public listed companies in complex and high-value disputes.

Ms Elaine is a highly detail-oriented and proactive litigator. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures that all legal angles are considered while her forward-thinking approach makes sure that clients' interests are best-served.

She was recognised as a 'future star' by Benchmark Litigation-Asia Pacific in 2019. She has been a member of the Medico-Legal Society of Malaysia since 2018.

ENG KAR WEI

Partner

Mr Eng Kar Wei began his legal career in the Judiciary, serving as a Senior Assistant Registrar where he worked closely with Judges of the Federal Court and occasionally presided as a Magistrate. This early exposure to the appellate and trial process has given him a deep understanding of judicial reasoning and procedural strategy.

He subsequently transitioned to private practice, focusing on complex commercial litigation and insurance disputes. Over the years, he has advised and represented multinational corporations, publicly listed companies (both local and foreign), as well as fellow advocates and solicitors in high-stakes matters.

Kar Wei is known for his ability to quickly distil complex or novel issues and develop commercially grounded litigation strategies.
